Nick Saparilas was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended Wake County Public Schools and continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. With a passion for helping others and seeking justice, he studied law at Oklahoma City University School of Law earning his Juris Doctor in order to pursue his dream as a Criminal Defense Attorney.

Attorney Nick Saparilas is licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Tenth Judicial Bar.

His passion for justice and dedication to community education led Nick back to the classroom, where he taught tomorrow’s leaders about criminal law and procedure at Durham Technical Community College. Also, he appears regularly on North Carolina Central University’s “Legal Eagles,” a television program that reaches out to the public to advise on legal issues, where he addresses questions and concerns regarding criminal law and much more.

While many defense attorneys emphasize their prosecutorial backgrounds, Nick has been a champion of the defense throughout his entire career and prides himself on defending the Constitutional rights of his clients.
